I was challenged by a friend after he saw my purchase of an Armored Boss brand bulletproof plate. He wanted to know if it could really stop edge shots. His plate, which cost twice as much and is considered top-of-the-line, had managed to stop an edge shot. At first, I didn’t want to destroy my plate, but he offered me a wager, if it could stop a .44 Magnum edge shot, he’d pay for the replacement. That sounded fair, so we put it to the test. To my surprise, this plate didn’t just stop one shot, we fired 10 rounds directly at the edges, some less than half an inch from the border and it stopped every single one. I’m beyond impressed.
